We are heading into my favorite time of the year.
Summer is winding down. Your gamer will be heading back to school soon, if she hasn’t started back already.
Fall is coming. The season of cooler weather, colorful leaves, and football. It’s also time to start looking forward to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
This is also the season of increased action in the video game industry. Summer can be a slow time but fall turns things up with developer and publishers trying to hit the coveted Christmas shopping window.
It is with this in mind that I am going to start ramping up my posting schedule here at Parenting Gamers. Things have been slow here over the last couple months but that is going to change.
First off, I am going to get back to releasing a review every Friday. My Dying Light review went up last Friday and I have reviews of Wolfenstein: The New Order, Mortal Kombat X, and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection in the queue.
On top of that, I am going to start a new series of videos called “Let’s Play”. These videos will be around 5 minutes and will show me playing a game I recommend. These will be high quality games I feel your gamer would enjoy and you can feel comfortable allowing them to play.
I also have a few other post series in mind that I will be launching in the next few days.
If this sounds interesting, please sign-up for my email list. You will receive a weekly round-up detailing all the posts that have gone out that week. Signing up is the best way to stay abreast of what is going on here.
